EArgasm

Do you guys know the word “EARGASM”? It starts with EA, not O.  Haha okay, I guess most of you don’t know the term but I’m sure that most human who ever heard music, ever feeling it. Let me tell you the description of the term, I found it on Wikitionary and Urban Dictionary:
-        The sensation one gets while hearing a dramatic climax in music.
-        The climax of musical excitement.
-        A sense of pleasure derived from listening to something, particularly music.
-        A sense of pleasure derived from physical stimulation of the earlobe or ear canal.
Ever you feel so excited when hearing music? As your body gives you strange sensation because of the music? Just because the music are too good to listen? I don’t know how eargasm happens and what is the brain doing when we get it. In my whole life, I just found 3 genius people that make me have an eargasm. Here they are:
-        Aaron Marsh (Copeland, The Lulls in Traffic)
-        Jónsi (Sigur Rós)
-        Adam Young (Owl City)
And I only found 10 songs which always give me the sensation while I’m hearing them,
1.      Hoppipolla - Sigur Rós
2.      On The Safest Ledge – Copeland
3.      Fireflies – Owl City
4.      The Last Time He Saw Dorie – Copeland
5.      When Finally Set Free – Copeland
6.      The Rope to Pull Yourself Together – The Lulls In Traffic
7.      Choose The One Who Loves You More - Copeland
8.      Staralfur - Sigur Rós
9.      No One Really Wins – Copeland
1 .   Why Not? - Jónsi
Maybe I’ll find more. I really love the songs, never feel boring every time I hear them. Although the songs were on my music playlists since I had my first phone which has music player, it means six years ago, but still love to hear them. The music, the lyrics, the instruments, the meaning of the song, even one of those could change my perception of life. Most of the songs are Copeland’s, because yeah man, Aaron Marsh is really a genius musician. But still, the one who sits in the first place is Hoppipolla. Furthermore if you listen to the song and dancing or swirling or running free or everything that leads to freedom, it would be out of the world. Though I never understand the lyric and never hoping I could READ the lyric. If Jónsi’s musics are on the movie, it would make the scene of movie seems so real.  You can prove it while you’re watching We Bought a Zoo and know the soundtracks are made by your favorite musician. It’s hard to describe the way I feel when I heard the songs, let alone if you don’t have to imagine what’s on the music because the picture of it is on the movie. Sometimes I cry when I heard the songs whereas the songs are not sad at all, but because they are just too good :”). You’ll feel the sense of eargasm by your own favorite music, but it depends on how you relish the song. So what’s yours?
